temp gauge

hey guys im having a problem with a MAL 15 for the coolant sensor i have the one on the manifold but its a 1 wire connector on it. sometimes it reads sometimes it doesnt. kinda a when it wants to thing ive tried finding this sensor
for weeks.

i searched for 85-87 buick regal/grand national/ v6/v8,, monte carlos etc i just cannot locate one that looks like mine all the ones the auto parts store has are 2 wire what gives?

The single wire sensor on top of the manifold is the high speed fan switch.

The 2 wire temp sensor is on the front of the manifold in the same general area.

ok replaced it just now car seems to start right up every time now before it would crank and crank then start. now it just starts ^_^ im happy. THANKS!!!
