Hey Justin, how come your name isn't on the list? ;)

That's my last day at work, what better way to spend it than up at LVD racing. :D

Ok, who put you up to asking me that... was it Jack? ;)

I just want to make sure the car is all set, I'll probably be there though.

No I was just looking for the Buicks on there and didn't see any.

Might have to sign up for that one. :)

Didn't know your car wasn't ready yet.

Well I signed up the 6th and have a paypal receipt.

Never got put on the list and sent out a bunch of emails asking why with no reply.

Anyone know who is running this thing?

I'm showing up anyway I think... ;)

Well Salvage.............HOW YOU DO????? Wish I could have got the day off...............maybe next time!!!...........................KB

Well it was HOT!!!

Very HOT!!!!

Lots of nice cars there. A decent amount of nice looking girls there too. :)

I had more "issues".

Alky kit wiring was intermittant last night and I finally found the problem and couldn't fix it perfectly but that didn't stop me from running just put KR as one big issue in the back of my mind.

So I make the first pass and do a 12.79 with a 1.9 60 ft. and beat a 94 or so Supra, by a lot acutally. :D

I got 8* KR on the big end thought the alky. kit was a problem.

I double checked that and the pump was running so I backed the boost off a psi. or two.

Ran again and got massive KR of 39* and ran 13.1. :(

Finally found that the motor mount bolt was loose and the motor was torqueing over.

Actually I found that at home later on.

Tons of fast cars there and plenty to watch from the rail.

Supras, Camaros, Firehawks, Cobras, Lightnings, race cars, you name it they were there. :)

Most impressive to me was an old Toyota Starlet running an 11.5 on it's second pass.

Not sure what motor was in it but it may have been a turbo 4 or 6.

Had 415 or so HP at the rear wheels and was the size of a golf cart.

Lotsa halter tops and bathing suits Ken and Ben. :D

Used the A/C on the way home AND in the staging lanes.

AC, what's that? I just took mine out today. Got the Champion kit that replaces the brackets etc. Big $$ but looks awsome. Car will be ready soon!!!!!!!!!

Geez Ben you NEED A/C it's what makes the car cool. ;)

Stop ripping up that nice car!!!

Trust me you would have needed it in the staging lanes yesterday.

About 15 degrees hotter than last years track rental.

Today would have been great to have it. :)

I had a great time even though it was as hot as a MOFO.Left the GN at home and drove the Firehawk.Did 18 passes all 11.9's-12.2's.
I did line up against a GN in one race.My car was #033.

I've got a Head/Cam,exhaust,4.11 gear,6 speed.Race weight was 3700lbs.
I do have our slip and have it on Video if you were 034.
My 12.07 to your 13.16:)

LOL oh so that was you. :D

I only ran twice since my motor mount was falling off the car.

39* KR on that run vs. you.

I let off when I couldn't take the knock detector screaming at me anymore.

I think you were through the traps by then anyway. :D

PS: It isn't a GN it's a WE4. ;)

You can erase that video.

You weigh the car there? Just wondering since they said the scales were closed when I asked.

I didn't weigh the car there,I just race it alot and know the weight.
The video was funny that I have.My wife was taping and commenting that I was lining up to her and was about to get my butt kicked. Then when I won she said that the GN felt bad for my slow car and let it win...LOL
As you can see the GN I have is actually her drag car for next year.

I like your wife LOL.

I only have 381 HP in street trim which is the way I race all the time. No slicks either just my street Nittos which obviously don't hook too well at good old LVD. ;)

You had better watch out for her next year if she decides to run it in race trim. :D

It was a fun day after I cooled off from trying to figure out my problems. :)

Well I didn't actually cool off since it was over 90 degrees out there....

PS: I hope your wife "accidentally" erases that video. ;)
