Are you talking about main bearing bolts?? If so, NO. The main bearing bolts don't penetrate anything. NEVER EVER use an RTV type sealant on ANY bolt that has a specific torque value that is required, like mains, heads, intake, etc. Use ONLY teflon base thread sealer in those important applications, in order to maintain as accurate a torque value as possible.
