I have no idea who built the motor. I was running near 30lbs of boost and the Alky system turned off on me. It was a very old system and Julio got me all fixed up. I started hearing a little knock but just on start up. Ran great, no other problems. Figured I better check it and be safe. What I saw from the bearings did not surprise me, but what I saw in two crank journal oil holes did. (see pics)
The block that was in the car still has the cross hatch visible and looks to be in good shape.
I have three blocks (one stock-std, one standard and girdled, one .030 over), three cranks (2 stock, one forged stroker), three sets of rods and pistons (stock, stock rods with JE pistons and k1's with Weisco pistons for the stroker set up). I also have a set of Champion heads new in the box from Bison.
I have not bought the Cam or anything that goes with it, but I will be going with a billet roller set up.
