Transbrake Switch/Location and speedo?

What are you guys finding as a convenient location for a transbrake switch and a what brand do you prefer?
Also my trans did not come with a speedo hookup, are you guys doing without speedo's or is there an option?

Option is put the 15 tooth drive and 39 tooth driven gear back in the 400 and screw in the cable.i like the horn for the transbrake at the track.then youve got both hands on the wheel

I should have mentioned, my transbrake plug is in the location where the drive would have been.

he never uses the speedo bore as far as I know.

I think he means its in the location of the Kick down solenoid connector.

I've tried a few different places but end up back to a coil cord. I just hold it in my lap and when I let go it falls between the seat and console.
