Translater Mounting Position

I recently had my MAF sensor bite the dust. I ordered an LS1 MAF with a translator (not the plus) and extender chip. I don't want to run extender cables and mount the translater inside the car. Where are most folks mounting the translator unit in the engine bay ?

I mounted mine to the cruise control bracket on the driver inner fender.

Here's where I mounted mine. To the rear of the windshield washer canister. Had to extend the wires a bit to get it to work from this position but I think it worked out great. Custom engraved Translator covers are available from my website! http://www.buickgn.com/Motordressupitems.htm
