Transmission Pan Upgrades

Alright, I'm getting read to change the tranny fluid and replace the TCC solenoid so I figure now would be a great time to upgrade the transmission pan. What are the thoughts and opinions on the Art Carr Pan (Kirban Sells) vs. the Modified Art Carr pan w/700-R4 filter upgrade (DRW Transmissions).

These are by far the best ..but..

The price reflects it. Ask anyone who has one. they are nice, nice and perform a function as well. Complete with bottom feeder tube and filter, (no 700 or 200 anything) and come with gasket, bolts stainless allens and a drain plug. T6061 sheet metal aluminum. Nice stuff!!!

Bruce,

Can you explain the bottom feeder tube/filter to me. Or do you have any pics? Are replacement filters readily available? Is it a simple swap similar to replacing the filter or is it more involved?

Is this set-up effective under heavy side loads....i.e. hard cornering. I do plan on auto-xing the vehicle some too.
