what transmissions fit into the regal/grand national besides the 200r4?

ive heard about 4l60e or something people put in

Buick, Pontiac, Olds bolt pattern transmissions. All will need some type of modification. How do you plan to use the car?

its my daily driver but the occassional track visit but i know the 2004r is weak after like 300tq?

Where are you from? I'd find the closest TR trans builder and get it rebuilt.

The 200 is stronger than the 700. A stock 200 with a shift kit will go 11's no problem. They aren't as weak as people like to think.

This is 100% correct. Unless you want to go with a 4L80E and controler ($3K or more) then get one of the board sponsors to re-do it for you. Chris at CKPerformance, Lonnie at PTS Extreme, and there are others I'm forgetting so don't shoot me please.:biggrin:
