10 Signs that we are the Terminal Generation

Here are ten prophetic signs that confirm we are the terminal generation.
1. THE KNOWLEDGE EXPLOSION.
A. First: The first road sign. Confirming that we are the terminal generation is recorded in the Book of Daniel. (Daniel 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
B. Second .The terminal generation will experience a knowledge explosion We are that generation. From the Garden of Eden until A.D. 1900 men walked or rode horses just as King David and Julius Caesar. In the span of a few years mankind invented the automobile, the jet plane, and the space shuttle.
C. Third: Medical knowledge increased. Medically we have experienced such a knowledge explosion that medical science has had to redefine death. Men can be kept alive indefinitely by machines and miracles drugs. The knowledge explosion is evidenced by the information superhighway. You can sit in the quiet of your own home and drown yourself in information and knowledge from the Internet.
2. THE PLAGUE IN THE MIDDLE-EAST
A. First: The prophet Zechariah had a vision. Zechariah didn’t know how to describe what he saw. (Zechariah 14:12-15) And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. (v.13) And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor. (v.14) And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. {Judah...: or, thou also, O Judah shalt} {at: or, against} (v.15) And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
B. Second .Zechariah’s pledge was a mystery to many people just a few years ago. And then the Atom bomb was invented. And atomic bomb can produce a temperature of 150 million degrees Fahrenheit in One millionth of a second. This is how a man’s tongue and eyes can be consumed before his corpse hit’s the ground.
C. Third: It’s Atomic warfare. Zechariah pledge is no longer a mystery. It is atomic warfare, and it will be used in the middle East.
3. THE REBIRTH OF ISRAEL
A. First: Coming home, Bible prophecy being fulfilled in our day. Every major prophet in the Old Testament testified that God would bring the Jewish people out of their Gentile nations.
B. Second: On May 15, 1948 The United Nations announced that they had formally recognized the state of Israel.
C. Third: the Rebirth of the Jewish nation. This rebirth was not a historical accident. It is the hand of God controlling the affairs of men just as the prophets of Israel said He would.
4. THE JEW WILL RETURN HOME
A. First: Jeremiah declared it. (Jeremiah 23:7-8) Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; (v.8) But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
B. Second: Jews from the north country? Russian Jews have been returning by the thousands, as have Jewish people from around the globe.
C. Third: We have seen the of New cast. Disembarking from planes in Tel Aviv. We have read about it in every form of printed median. But the first place we read about it was in the Bible the book of Jeremiah. IT IS AN OTHER SIGN THAT WE ARE THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
5. JERUSALEM NO LONGER UNDER GENTILE RULE.
A. First .Bible states that the Jerusalem will not be under Gentile rule in the Terminal Generation. The Jewish people did control the holy City from A.D. 70 when the Romans attacked the city and destroyed temple until the six day war of 1967. Jesus said; (Luke 21:24) And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
B. Second: King David said. (Psalms 102:16) When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
C. Third: Jerusalem is under the control of the Jewish people for the first in over two thousand years. WE ARE THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
6. INTERNATIONAL INSTANT COMMUNICATION.
A. First: (Revelation 11:3, 7-10) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. That is 31/2 years. {I will give...: or, I will give unto my two witnesses that they may prophesy} (v.7) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. (v.8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (v.9) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
(v.10) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
B. Second: John describes two witnesses. They will be killed and their bodies will be seen three-and-a-half days laying in the streets of Jerusalem by peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations.
C. Third: For generation Bible scholars question how these thing can be seen at the same time by all the earth. Then came the television, followed by international satellites. This was not possible in the 1900’s! This was not possible in the 1960’s. It is possible today, because we are THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
7. DAYS OF DECEPTION.
A. First: Jesus warned. (Matthew 24:4,5. 24.) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (v.5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (v.24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
B. Second. Jesus warned that the number one problem will be deception. Secular humanism Deception. The New Age theories and philosophies are deceptions. Environmental gurus who teach the earth is but the breast of "mother goddess" are in deception. Satanism and the occult are deception.
C. Third. The Apostate church, Which has a form of godliness but denies the power of God, is practicing deceptions. Deception abounds, so we are THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
8. FAMINIES AND PESTILENCE.
A. First: (Matthew 24:7-8) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (v.8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.
B. Second: America has the ability to feed the world, yet we pay farmers not to grow certain crops lest they drive the market down.
C. Third: Starving Children. Almost every night you can see starving children on television with bloated bellies, bulging eyes, and bare ribs. Why? Bible prophecy, Jesus said in the last days there will be this kind of starvation in our world.
9. EARTHQUAKES.
A. First: God uses earthquakes to communicate with the spiritually deaf. The Bible records as least thirty three instances where God used an earthquake to get man’s attention. The earth quaked at mount Sinai when Moses received the Ten Commandments (Exodus 19:18) And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
B. Second: God used an earthquake at Jerusalem at the Crucifixion to split the veil of the temple from top to bottom. (Matthew 27:51) And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
C. Third: God used an earthquake at the Resurrection to roll the stone from the borrowed tomb. Not to let Jesus out, but to let us in. (Matthew 28:2) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. {was: or, had been} The constant trembling of the earth is God’s voice speaking through nature reminding us the we are THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
10. AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH.
A. First: Jesus said in; (Matthew 24:36-37) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (v.37) But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
B. Second: What characteristics marked the days of Noah? (Genesis 6:5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. {every...: or, the whole imagination: the Hebrew word signifieth not only the imagination, but also the purposes and desires} {continually: Heb. every day}
If you open your morning paper, you’ll lose you appetite reading of the murder, rape, kidnapping, assaults, child abuse, spouse abuse. Government corruption, drug addiction, pornography, homosexually, adultery, and fornication, This the as Noah’s generation with the thoughts of its heart continuously evil. That is how we know we are THE TERMINAL GENERATION.
