Turbo Bolts keep backing out and loosening...

Hey all,

I am having problems keeping the bolts tight to hold the turbo tight. It's the bolts on the exhaust side that bolts the downpipe to the turbo. Is there anything that I can use to make sure that they stay tight? The topmost bolt is the worst. It keeps backing out completely and I have to keep getting new bolts. Any solution? What type of threadlocker will work on super hot turbo bolts?

Thanks

What grade of bolts are you using?
Using lock washers?
What type of support do you have on the dp, and the rest of the exh system?
Are the engine/trans mounts good?
DP hitting the body pinch weld?
Body mounts shot and allowing the body to sag onto the dp?

Studs and nuts with lockwashers should work.

Try one on the top bolt that always backs out.

You could use some high temp. Loctite, but I always use never-seize on exhaust bolts, the 2500 degree stuff.

I would like to know what type of bolt as well. Because I have a heck of a time getting the grade 8 allens out of mine when I want to. :) I guess its a problem on either end on the spectrum!
