Sooo glad someone is trying a manual trans! Nice clutch too! Seems like you have friends on here so they will be supportive of your trans swap. In the past i've seen people on here ask about a manual trans swap and get boo'd out of the room. I'm too chicken to try it myself so I will be anxiously watching your project. ...I would think rear gear selection would be on the tall side to keep the GN motor in the sweet spot with a manual??

I agree on the gearing. The car has a 9" Ford rear with 4.11 gears. I'm sure a 3.50 or even a 3.25 will be better but I will be putting it on the road with the existing gears and see how it runs. There should be a "sweet spot" somewhere between a 1st "granny gear" and a 6th gear that is unuseable.

its a touring car, and along the lines of your camaro, (it is to be driven!)
at 2800 lbs, it is a blast!
