Turbo link question

The guy i got my car from gave me a laptop with the cables for turbo link. how do i use it and what should the senors read when working correctly?

what version of t-link do you have. If its the older DOS version, just run the supplied cable from the ALDL port to the printer terminal on the laptop. Load the program to the harddrive, and setup a shortcut to it on the desktop. If it the new windows based version, you have to run a test procedure to the cable to make sure it is working before it will link with the ecm. Instructions are in one of the files on the windows based version, dont remember where exactly.

once you get the program up and running, there should be a help section in the program that gives a general idea of what numbers you should be seeing on each parameter (I know version 4.0 has it, early ones may not.) for further questions you can get in contact with Ken Mosher (www.turbo-link.com) and he can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about it.
