You are correct, it is a simple replacement part...but why is it rusted?? How long have the pumps been sitting in a moist environment? Makes people wonder as to the condition of the pumps...just saying.

Never quoted that the pumps are new, when you purchase something used such as this, the normal purcedure will include to replace all rubber hoses and clamps and filters before reinstalling the unit.
