v8 swap need help

i have a 87 gn that i am putting a gen1 supercharged sbc i just need to know what to do about the wiring i got the mounts and everything i need just a little confused its my first v6 to a v8 swap thanks

why not a turbo instead of s/c?

its a carb motor i don't like blow throughs even tho they work well and its a lot more pipeing and work s/c nice and easy and clean

I've done a few of these and it's pretty straightforward. I usually just remove the turbo wiring harness and install a naturally aspirated wiring harness, but either will work. All of the wires on the starter have to be connected just like they were on the original engine. You'll have to wire your distributor and ignition box based on the manufacturer's recommendations. If you're just using an HEI, then it's a simple one wire connection.
