I have access to many different original GM NOS valvesprings..

right now i have part number 3911068 sitting in front of me, and wondering if it would be a good alternative to the LT1 valve spring

here's some info i found on them, apparently they were used on both early camaros and corvettes and newer crate engines...

"3911068 Valve Spring
This is the service spring for the 300 HP 350 ci crate engine that ended production in January 1999. This is a great spring for a mild performance engine.

Technical Notes: Single spring with damper with 1.241" O.D. and 1.15" solid height. The pressure at installed height IS 80# @ 1.70" with 267# the average rate of pounds per inch. Use with retainer P/N 14003974 and seal kit P/N 10132715."

i'm going to work on finding enough of both that and the other part number LT1 springs...

is this spring a good choice?
would i use it with or without the cup thing?
