Weird stumble problem

I have a stumble problem.

When I am in a forward gear, I can't build any boost, or load it up past 1,000 rpms. The weird thing is that when I am in reverse, I can build it up to about 2,100rpms/ 3-4psi boost.

Could this be caused by a cracked header?

If anyone could post any possible stumble solutions it would greatly help.

Cant get past 1000 rpm's, the car just wont? or it stlls/sputters? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but different people have different opinions on what a stumble is.

Could be the pos battery cable touching the header. or othere connnection problem which is amplified when engine moves. Possible front pump cross leak maybe causing TCC clutch to partially enfafe. I dunno man, difference changing gears, hmmm thats all I can think of right now. Maybe as I get further into my coffee something will come to me
