You can kind of verify this by when the thermostat opens up. When it does, your temps should be 160 ish. (Assuming your thermostat is opening at the correct temperature). Look and see which (T-link or Auto-Meter) gauge is closer. I bet that the T-Link is.....
My Autometer mechanical gauge isn't even close...Might be because it's old....
Assuming your coolant sensor is working properly I would trust the T link. I had a similar problem caused by an eratic sensor. Mine was only abou 20 degrees difference.
