which tranny

what tranny would be ideal for my car i`m setting a goal for 600hp 10 seconds. would the th 350, th400,or the 2004r which tranny is the strongest . I`m planning to rebuild it with a shift kit and torque convertor .just trying to get a few ideas so i`m not wasting a lot of money. thanks

Do u want a strip only car?

Remember the 2004r has the closest ratios through the gears.

building any for 600 horse is gonna cost some bucks. Talk to Chris @CK Performance or call Century trans and talk with Mike.

400 has the closest ratios, 200 has the widest.

a 400 would be the cheapest.we get $1000 with an internal transbrake and steel hub.if you just want parts i can help out with that too,as well as other vendors on the board here.
