Who says people dont race GNXs?

There was an individual....
in Hawaii that bought 2 GNX's and raced one of them hard . In fact one night at the race track, as he was getting ready to start it up to run, he had a nitrous explosion that sent one of the fender vents flying, buckled the hood, cracked the header panel, and a lot more damage under the hood (he didnt open the hood). He was obviously upset, but just got out of the car and walked away from it. About an hour later, a flatbed tow vehicle arrived at the track to take it away.
Pretty sad to see a GNX with aproximately 5000 miles on it at the time explode like that, but since we were about 20 yards away when it happened, it was also pretty exciting.
I dont know what happened to the car after that evening, but my guess is it was repaired and raced again.
I know I never said nobody races GNX's....
