Whos running a GT6131E and Stock D5 ?

So I have a gt3255E on the car right now... Would this turbo be an upgrade or fairly similar... PTE has done a horrible job of keeping up with their turbo specs page and I cant find any info to compare the two turbos.

GT6131 would be an upgrade to the GT3255. The 6131 will support more power than the 3255. The 6131 is said to support 600hp. The 3255 according to PTE will support 520hp.

I've had my gt6131e on for about 3 months and just put my turbo shield back on a few days ago. Fits fine!

good info guys. im currently getting ready to install the GT6131E on my bothers car among other mods.

If I remembered correctly the 6131 will not work too well with the stock D5.

I had a Art-Carr 9.5" with around 2800-3000 stall and had really hard time building boost at the line. Which later I blew my tranny pump

They say it will work with the stock D5 but I would not reccomend it. Even with my 44 the spool up was still a bit slow.

I then replace the TC with the art-carr listed below with a 3200 stall which made a huge difference in the spool up.
