Will the a normal boost control work with my carbbed set up?

Hey guys im gathering all my parts to do my carbbed set up and for the time being im not going to be running that much boost, but i want to be able to turn it up and down when i want, will a regual boost controller work with the carbbed set up or is the only way to do it is rig the acuator on the wastegate? I was kind of lookin at the qboost.com inside car boost controller will that work? here is the website im sure some of you guys have seen it...

That would probably work. Seems like a lot of money for stuff you shold be able to find at a hardware store.

I made something like that once. They aren't very precise - sometimes a little turn did nothing, sometimes too much.

I like the adjustable wastegate rod best. I also added a check valve set at relieve at 10 psi to keep some of the pressure off the stock actuator.
