Will they fit?

Hey guys a friend of mine has a set torque thrust in 18x8 20x8 all with 4.5 backspace. But they are 5x4.5 lug pattern. Do you think they would fit with an adapter and look right in the wheel opening and not stick out to far. The wheels and tires are brand new and I can get them for next nothing.

The adapter will need to be at least 1/2" thick and billet if you expect it to hold up. That would put you at a 4" back spacing so it should work, but I wouldn't trust them for anything other than easy street driving. If the spacer is thicker than 1/2" then you'll have some fitment issues.
