WOW - Clean your big screen lens!

A buddy of mine got a plasma TV and I helped him set it up.
We watched a movie to check it out and wow - it looked great....so great, it depressed me about mine...

Well, I go tto reading on the net about what to do to make my rear projection look better...i kept seeing adjust tune and clean.

I've constantly tried to adjust mine to look better but it never looked great. I'd just about given up and had pretty much decided to get a new TV...figured mine was just wore out.

Low and behold, I decided to clean it for the hell of it and WOW....It's like a new TV. Colors are bright, picture is sharp...it's simply amazing what a 20 minute clean job did for the quality...

Clean your lenses people...you don't know what you're missing!

DONOT clean the inside of the screen or the mirror - no need, just the lenses.

Hmm... that is a good tip. I'll keep that in the back of my head when I get a big screen. Plasmas are too mujch for me.

I clean mine a few times a year. It makes a great difference, especially in HD.
