Question on 2004R dipstick tube bolt
What size is the bolt that holds the dipstick tube to the trans. Not the one on the bell housing but the small one where the tubes goes into the trans. Thanks!- 12lives

Hi - I am looking for a stock dip stick for a 2004R. It will be bolted up to a 455 but I can't imagine that will make a difference??? I got one from a friend but its way too tall and the bolt strap is in the wrong position:- 12lives

Thanks guys - I just needed the ID, but the part numbers helped. Looks like the "S" hose (19598) is 5/8ths and the other almost S (19603) is 3/4. Great, Thanks!- 12lives

I have a brand new 2004r and am setting up the TV cable. This is going in a V8 car so its DIY TV cable install. Any way, I drained the pan and flipped the tranny over on an engine stand and pulled the pan off so I could see the plunger and check the operation. After about 10 minutes fluid...- 12lives
