Reuse of Rotating Assembly?
After losing a rod bearing in 19988, I had my 83 regal engine rebuilt to use with a turbo . .030 over TRW forged pistons , new GM turbo crank, re-sized rods,cloyes true roller timing chane, Kenn-Bell 360 deg grooved main bearings and a KB TXB turbo cam . What is the horsepower limit for a "109" block?
Not asking what is possible, just what a practical limit horsepower for a very reliable motor for long term use. Getting ready to build the motor for my 83 regal LC2 conversion. Would like to set it up for around 450 to 500 horse power.- 1983.REGAL.LC2
