Thanks a lot for all the help guys. And yes I will be pulling and installing myself. Also do any of these guys do trans rebuilds cause Im going to be sticking with the 2004R.
I am looking for an experienced turbo Buick machine shop and engine/trans builder in the Philadelphia area. I am looking to build up a 500hp at the fly wheel street car. Last fall I blew head gasket and toasted my bearings from the coolant mixing with the oil so I will need to totally rebuild...
I have a sagging on the rear passanger side how would i determine if it is the spring or the shock that is the problem. thanks for the help in advance.
thanks alot for the quick response. im hoping for someone to have them close to the philadelphia area. ill let you know if i cannot get ahold of them in the next few days.
anyone know what could be causeing my break pedal to barely travel and must be pushed extremely hard to begin to stop. also the stoping power is basically non existant. thank you in advance.
The threads on my front two passanger valve cover bolts #s 25519858 and 25519857 are rounded. does anyone have a set or know of a place where i could get them. I checked some of the local junk yards but it seems like the only regals they have are the v8's.
thanks in advance
i have a crappy cdx f5000 that came with the car when i bought it a few weeks ago and finally got around to getting it wired up. the unit will not turn on but its getting power cause its taking cds and ejecting them. could this be due to the yellow acc wire not being hot for some reason?
i sprayed engine cleaner where the intake manifold meets the valve covers because thats where it sounded like it was coming from and it was getting sucked in to the intake manifold. im going to be replacing the valve cover gaskets as well beacuse they are starting to look pretty bad.
I have a vacuum leak coming from the intake manifold on the driver’s side next to the valve cover which is causing my idle to be very unsteady. Would anyone be able to give me a detailed explanation on how to perform this repair and what tools I would need?
