Non Buick 200r4 Question
Well apparently a c-clip had freed itself inside the trans allowing the foreward input drum to slide backwards blocking the governor opening and preventing me from removing the driveshaft. mystery solved.- 1BURBAN

Yes the governor looks like the on in the picture. I have already removed the speedo gear. the gov won't line up with the hole in the trans it is sliding aginst a sprag? or something that is located toward the front of the trans but is visible through the hole the gov weights spin in.- 1BURBAN
