Ah cool! Hell of a setup you have. What's the ci and compression? I should of had my setup running last summer but went through the engine over some valve train issues. Honestly I've never had this engine over 20psi, I'd love to get it up to 25-30psi.

I think lock-up is a waste of time but, a lot of people swear by them. Especially heavier vehicles such as drag trucks. Any time I've tried locking my old converter it slowed me down.

I think you'll be fine. People underestimate the tq big ci v6s make. Pair it with a 67mm or smaller and it's nearly useless on the street under 50mph without prep. Besides I'm betting that cam will like 6500+ rpm.
