    Electric fan stopped working

Yes, the big connector hanging on the fan shroud. Casper's has an exact replacement for both sides of the plug, and it installed very easily. Very nice stuff. Fan runs correctly, and I still have the Kirban switch for manual use. Dave

    Lowering springs

Just got time to get back to this thread. My gn did not settle much after the install of the BMR springs. I decided to cut the front coils. Took one half (1/2) coil off of the bottom of the spring, which reduces the length just under an inch. Reinstalled, and the car dropped a lot, probably...

    Lowering springs

The springs(4) in my car had been changed with a standard Moog replacement coil several years ago. The back of the car was starting to sag, so I had them all replaced. The paint is still on them. I expected the front of the car to be lower with the new coils, but it is even higher than before...

    Lowering springs

Thanks for the info, I guess the only way to tell if they are not indexed correctly is to take it apart again My lower control arm had an obvious slot in it, which appeared to be where the spring should sit. I can't remember but are the front coils the same at each end? I made a quick...

    Lowering springs

Just finished installing a set (4) lowering coil springs. Supposed to drop the gn by . 1.5 inches. Car dropped in the rear, but the front looks higher than the stock springs held it. Do these springs settle any after install? Bought them from BMR Susoenrion. Thanks Dave 87gn

Once again, I have found a lot of answers on this website. I appreciate all the help that I found from you guys, I think it is only fair to let you know how things turned out. I was able to order the fan connectors from Classic or Casper's, they both have them. I did receive the relay terminals...

    Electric fan stopped working

Had a friend of mine come over and we started to check the connector, etc. Found the connector to the fan, 3 wires, was melted, and the power was not making it to the other side of the connector. I pulled the pin out of both sides of the connector and used a joiner to connect the wires and the...

I just took the car for a ride, it is about 80degrees here today. Got the car over 180 and the computer did not turn on the fan. So neither my manual switch nor the computer will turn the fan on. Electric fan stopped working

Thanks for you info, I thought that they looked a little"cooked", even though I have never overheated the car on the street on yhe track. I just received the relays today, so i am going to plug them in and see if that gets the fan running. If not I guess it is the fusible links that are left...
