ley me know what you find out.... i have just done lifters and valve train(push rods and rockers)and mine has that same style of noise,but i think its my timing chain,it turns into a chatter with mine.....with accel,and gets quiet with out load decel.... but i would love to listen to what it...

any thing any one??? has any one had anything resembleing this????:confused:

well i posted a few days ago and got some good advice on an issue i have......i repalced the lifters and push rods......but to no avail...... i did have a bad lifter tho letting the oil bleed off soo that was a good thing i did that,but everything is pointing to the timing chain now...

i will check that tonight,i poured oil down the push rod last night and it was quiet again tho.... but any advice is good advice!!!! thanks,will keep you updated!

the rockers are all moving the same amount.... i had it running with the valve covers off and then turned it over cylender by cylender to check for that.....and they all look really good.........and made sure that i checked each bank was under load and not under load just to make sure for play...

well here goes it,i have a tick........and not the kind that you can get rid of with a match or vaseline.......i have a bad lifter tick on # 2 piston the forward lifter...i checked the push rod and there is no play in it...(collapsed lifter) but when i pour oil down the push rod it is...
