I have a NEW never used camshaft that came out of my fresh built/forged short block i ordered from Nick a couple years ago. It had too much lift for the springs i had on the heads in the car at the time so i had him custom grind me a lower lift camshaft. Im not sure on exact specs on this cam...
U are correct.... Take the walbro 255lph HP pump for example. They start dropping off pretty quickly after 80psi and are down about 20GPH from 40 to 80psi..... And most pump flow is rated at 43.5psi at 12V. :) Here is a flow chart on a 255lph HP walbro pump for those that are interested and...
Thank you. I am not here to down on others... its not my thing. I think its ridiculous and very disrespectful to do actually. I posted in here to share my factual information and possibly help someone else. And i appologize if i came off a little strong at times..... It just gets frustrating lol
This depends on the injectors.... Injector technology has come a long way these days.... There are injectors you can purchase now that love 100psi of fuel pressure believe it or not. They actually have a better spray pattern at 80-100psi then they would at 50psi. The new bosch high impedence...
Honestly i would go ahead and put 120s in it with a good fuel pump that can keep up as well. The Magnafuel 4303 does a great job, is safe for E85 use and will have absolutely NO problem supporting mid 9 second passes. And they will also really get down when u put some voltage to them! It's what...
To get enough fuel to run those small injectors to that pwr level.
And BTW to the guy that stated 8th to 1/4 on fuel system... Yes i agree that u can drain it going a little further if your pumps are draining and/or u dont have fuel for higher RPM... i have experienced this before lol... I...
Yes i know i said i was done but i couldnt help but to come back and tell you to stop speaking the truth and making sense here... People dont wanna hear the truth or facts!!
Well darn someone tell Eric to stop lying with his advertisements on his 80lb injector and chip combos for E85 then.... I sure wont as ive seen it and i know its true lol If you dont want to believe us that have seen this done and done it and it takes a familiar name from someone in the VERY...
ANYONE can make a post with their views.... And feel free to think im one of these people that dont know a thing and am just posting on a forum
I personally tune engines for a living and have for a LONG time now nearly 2 decades.... Due to this i see A LOT of different combos, platforms...
50psi "base fuel presure" and dual walbro 255lph intank pumps. Base pressure being fuel pressure measured at zero vacuum. The fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1 rising unit, so it will raise 1psi of fuel pressure per 1 psi of positive manifold pressure/boost.
If i ran the car at a base pressure...
