ok i´m gonna hook it up, can i follow the pressures in my TH repair manual?

so i got my car back on the road with the new billet input drum. i`m a little curious about the tv adjustment. if i adjust it the way that it is all the way in when i´m full throttle the car won´t shift into 2nd and 3rd at all, it just starts slipping and i need to rev it really high and then...

can something get messed up if i try this? tv ball is the one up front next to the dipstick hole and 4th accumulator one the one between accumulator housing and oil pan rail?

btw. the mph transmission instruction paper says: modified control valve body and it´s non lockup

first i want to say thanks to all the guys who helped me to get my forward drum problem done, also to chris who sold me the new billet one. i´m almost finished assembling but now i´m a little confused, in my repair book there are 8 check balls (except the one that´s at the servo) in the tranny...

just cutting off or do i need to watch out for something (except length of .650")?

just got my new billet forward drum from chris this week and reassembled my tranny today but i found out that theres no clearance for the friction plates at the overdrive carrier. the thin end of the input shaft can´t go far enough into the end of drum and doesn´t seat on the thrust bearing...

what kind of dipstick can i use? can´t get a 200 4r here just 350,400 or 700r4..... thanks, pat

and that´s the reason why i´d rather spend some money on your drum, instead of waiting for another replacement piece of crap from MPH

somebody ever heard from mph transmissions in santa ana? they don´t even have a webpage. i just asked cause there´s a guy named mike who sells the trannys and george (from hawaii :biggrin: ) is building the transmissions. i really was just asking if anyone has connections to them.

but why do they praise it as 850HP rated with such a piece of crap in it!!!!!!!!! that makes me total pi......:mad: i paid a lot of money for it cause i wrecked my old th350 after 2 seasons of street driving and i wanted to get something bulletproof.
