Obviously, I put the wrong one in the box to ship out! It looks like your BUM unit is prolly in the trunk of the customers car! I marked them so I didnt get them confused which it appears that I did anyway! There was never any screwdriver pryed to take the labels off or whatever you said. Just a...- carfreak07

Just as the title says......I am having trouble getting a customers car running that has been converted over to 86-up module and coil pack assy and just want to go back with 84-85 stuff. No Spark Problem, please help!
The car did run.... It had a miss.... I did not hear the car run nor the miss. It went to a gm mechanic and he replaced the module and coil pack and also pulled the cam sensor out of it. It has not ran since that. It came to me totally dead. I have Checked all the pins and even unpinned them and...- carfreak07

well folks this car is still down.....everything I test leads me to either the module or a dead end. I have put gm modules on it and everything else I can think of, really have no idea what is going on with this car. I sure wish there was someone local that knew these cars and could help me out...- carfreak07

Nick, Parton me for asking a dumb question but when we spoke earlier, you said to check continuity on the signal wire. My question is where do I check the continuity to? From signal to a or signal to c, may e even something else. I will check it all out in themorning..... Thanks again for the help- carfreak07

Yes the light is on when the key is on, it does not have any codes. I forgot to mention earlier that the car is an 84 but it has an adapter that's plugs in and accepts the 86/87 module and coil. I have the voltages on the important things posted in the original post. Thanks again- carfreak07

Ea it is definately no spark. The car has been worked on before I got it..... They were trying to cure a miss and had replaced the injector harness and some other odd and end things.
