At no time do the instructions delete the governor circuit the transmission keeps the full automatic mode, insted is says it uses the t.v. for shift point chech out the instructions at tci's web sight:tciauto.com/v002/Instructions/Files/386020.pdf they also have a turbo one as 386021 not sure of...- craiggroombridg
