    when installing aftermarket speedometer?

    OK I have everything working, sometimes. I learned that the VDO sender is 16k pulses per mile. So I drove the car two miles, it was only at 1k pulses on the autometer speedo. I continued to drive the car until it got to 32k pulses measured. Which is 16k per mile. The sending unit is working only...

    transmision issue

    Hate to bring the dead back to life, but I have the same problem. I unplugged the TCC solenoid on the outside the trans and all is right in the world, but with it plugged up the car is a mutt on vacumn. Is this also the TCC in the trans that is bad? Thanks J

    Thanks for the compliments. No dents or rust. Car was just finished. Its a sliding ragtop like the old VW's had. The AC works great during the day but at the night time cruise-ins its cool to open the top up. Its almost like having a six passenger convertible.
