    Yes.. Took a look at a head gasket and It looks like the 12 o'clock hole locations are a little close to the bore center than the rest.

    Rich, I'm taking a intuitive guess but I believe the other two extra bolt holes for each bore on a 14 bolt pattern should line up directly above and below each bore center... Correct? Also the distance from the bore center to each center of these two extra bolt holes should be the same...

    fresh 4.1 291 casting

    291 block will handle all stock 3.8 parts except the Pistons. Need to drill out a turbo oil return though if it's not already done.

    Yes...14 bolt for stage blocks too. 4.1 bore.

    I've got a buddy that has a complete industrial machine shop with all the goodies including a large CNC machine. He wants to do up some torque plates for me. Does anybody have exact dimentions for the head bolts and bores. I'm sure I can go off my block and heads but I'd rather get it from...

    oil From Dipstick

    Check the PCV valve. It could be faulty and letting too much boost pressure into the crankcase. I had this problem.. I replaced the PCV valve with an RJC one and it solved the problem. http://rjcracing.com/product/rjc-pcv/
