What is the goveners affect on shift point?
same but not? i kinda have same question. I just pulled my tranny and had it rebuilt and finished putting it in on friday so ive been lettin it break in before i actually redlined it. It used to shift WOT@5k, now its 28-3k. to my knowledge its same gov weights springs, I dont want to pull the...- g3arhed

oohhh yea, I built everything to really good tollerances, and compression is 9.5 so I can turbo it later...- g3arhed

the engine in there right now is about 2 years old and everything was done by me in a carport first engine i had in there i did just top end and not a whole lot of 'custom' stuff, i learned all the secrets after I did it, so this engine got the works. this one is a whole new ball game:biggrin...- g3arhed
