10psi and 3600rpm, thanks 29-30psi and 21 degrees, that's pushing it like stated, forget what the old chips would use as timing if you had those and recall etc. My Talon is 30psi and 16 degrees and those cars can eat boost like crazy vs ours so be careful. Good news, damn old wiring, I swapped my harness after a TPS issue and they all looked rough and I wasn't gonna wait for more issues to pop up. Thank God Caspers offers a high quality harness and now we have Cruz with one for Holley swaps so our 40 year old hot and brittle engine bay wiring...- GNVYUS 1

8HP swap?
You can actually launch in 2nd (3.14) with the Maxx Ecu or stand alone software. 190lbs w converter is pretty light for the ZF 8HP a giant trans, 175lbs for TH400 w converter. Trans tuning and the driveshaft seem like other obstacles that will require delicate solutions for or you'll be out way...- GNVYUS 1

Bobs our 4L80E guy so he's gonna need to have someone really push his buttons to also tackle this, first someone will actually have to buy and get all these parts, then you'll need to say things like this to him.....
