Hi. I just got my GN back from the shop. I popped the hood to replace the alternator and I found this piece just hangin on top of the engine. It's attached to a bolt that screws back in somewhere. Can anyone tell me what it is and where it goes? Much gras in advance...

Hi: I've got an 87 GN. I do the simple maintenance myself. Oil/fluids/filter changes, plugs, etc. I just replaced my alternator. All went well except now the belts are squealing. Can anyone describe to me how to go about tighten up the drive belt? Thanks in advance.
