    L67 Turbo back to life...

I know its FWD... and not a true 3.8 ... but figured I post... Been a few years but my new setup is back to life. Got some work to do, such as get the cage upgraded from 6pt to 10pt and install lexan glass and hammer out tune tweaks and any other little bugs that creep up. Chages from old...

    Thinking out-loud?

The above picture, no adapters needed... http://zzperformance.com/3800/fueling/siemens-deka-80-injectors-6.html ZZP sells the 80# injectors, which are slim, can get with EV1 or EV6 connectors... Assume would need the EV1 ....

    Thinking out-loud?

These are the old Lucas injectors. These fit just fine. If keeping with e85 and M90, 52# or 84# would be all you need. 60# injectors are good for like 400whp on e85 on these setups.

    Throttle body size

I used the Racetronix fuel pump rewire kit on the wbody... nice plug and play setup. Probably just bite the bullet for a new HPT Pro then.... Pricey, but well worth it in the end to have yer own tuner.

    Throttle body size

Its in my Grand Prix ... Since the FBody intake bolts on easily, it was a nice option to go with to get the TB onto the other side of the engine, as it is turbo'd. I use this cheap method for a Voltage Booster @ https://www.zzperformance.com/blog/free-mod-higher-voltage/ I still use the old...

    Throttle body size

I run a 99+ L67 throttle body on my FBody intake... the manifold side needed some hogging out to match up well enough. Delt with Northstart/LS1 in the past... To me, didn't seem to really do much of anything. I actually liked keeping the stock style MAF setup (no couplers) and with a MINI AFC...

    Turbo 3800 Greetings.. (pic heavy?)

my motor is torn apart now. I made a royal goof up. SII block... using a SIII rear cover. But used the SII paper gasket. Apparently the SIII covers are pretty crummy and can warp. And their gaskets are the metal+rubber kind. Well it leaked coolant into the oil. Not a TON... but enough to chew up...

    Turbo 3800 Greetings.. (pic heavy?)

Yah, I like the FBody intake alot myself. Just fits very nicely for the setup, works well, and cheap. I thought of doing on myself. Missed out on a low mile rust free Texas one my boss sold two years back. I had about a days notice it was for sale... and it sold.

    GTP transmission issues

Cost? Depends on what you are gonna put it through... Dave's trans start at like ~$1400 or so for basic trans... (upgraded sonnax parts and all that) for say a stock or pretty stockish car. And the price goes up from there... He is only one of maybe three people I trust in the world with the...

Who's ready for some 3800 power?!

Haven't removed the balance shaft yet? Gonna be running a double roller? If done right that should take some good abuse. My stocker 200k mile block held up pretty well with nearing 600whp. My only goof up was using an 06 rear cover, with a pre 04 paper gasket. Was leaking tiny bit of coolant...

    injector sizing help?

I ran the FIC bosch (1000cc) injectors with e85 on my turbo setup with a bumped up fuel pressure... good for around the 600whp mark it seemed. I could have gotten more out of them, if i ran the IDC up more.. but i don't like getting close to static..... but for most part, they ran great, no...

    e85

I run e85 in my drag car but its turbo. 90# injectors and ran it up to 22psi and 6900rpm shifts.... 0 kr ... great stuff. 200k mile stock short block.
