What do you do for a living?

Most .... 99%....are really nice kids. I also take five K-3 kids to a special school for the hearing impaired. They have cochlear implants and two of them started hearing for the first time last year. They're the best..... Honest and unassuming..

What do you do for a living?

Retired RN ( critical care, ED, cardiac cath lab, psyche) and had enough of the politics after working in hospitals for forty years. Drive a school bus now. No BS to put up with. Love it.

    Stock Chip

I put Eric's 5.7 chip in my stock '87 GN. Drove around about 20 minutes to let it "learn" and noticed an immediate difference in driveability -- much smoother, idles better. A very good bang for the buck. A worthwhile investment in my opinion.

Feel like a boat! Suspension wise

My stock '87 was the same way when I bought her. As mentioned previously, start with a good gas shock. I used kyb's and are very happy with the ride. Does your car have the original body bushings? If so, have 'em changed. I used the stock type from kirban's. Helped out even more. You have any...

87 GN in storage since new

I completely agree with what ineedagn says. In my opinion, you have an inve$tment grade mu$eum piece collector$ car. Worth a LOT of jack. I would keep it as is . I know, I know , these cars were meant to be driven and $ isn't everything. But, to the right buyer/collector you could sell it and...

Raised White Letter Tire branding in or out?

A matter of personal taste. For me, I love the raised whites , letters out, on a stock 87 GN rim. I have BFG t/a's raised whites and I love the late 80's look. But, like I said, it's just a matter of what makes you smile.

    repo Headlight Bezels

I bought mine from kirban's and they were dead-on perfect. Matched the original ones exactly.

    engine won't turn on...

Either what marcus said, or a bad connection at the battery. You really can't tell how good the conection is by just looking at it. Sometimes they look fine. I would disconnect the battery and thoroughly clean the terminals / connections with some sandpaper or an emery board. That would remove...

Some people say my video was disrespectful

The guy running the lights probably had a hot date after work and he just wanted to get the h&ll outta there. Besides , I'm sure the *spectators* loved it , and after all, it IS a spectator event. They got what they paid for ! I thought it was badass.

Fuel level float assembly / sender

Hey folks. I believe I'm going to have to replace my fuel level float and sender. I just don't trust my fuel guage as it seems way too inaccurate. Any specific brands or vendors that you recommend or that I should stay away from? Johnnie

    Wheel Alignment question

I had mine done at my local tire discounters when I bought my tires 2 years ago. No issues.

    Body mounts

On what Mr Kirban said about the rear seat gnx brace.,.... *Do it! * I got the " Tin Man " brace and kit from him. Easy install and made a difference even with new body bushings installed. ( I didn't weld mine in. I used the supplied bolts / nuts and added seam sealer. ) NO rattles or squeaks...

    Best car photos.......(photogenic)

*Very* nice cars indeed. That roadrunner is over the top. If I didn't want to keep my car stock, and since I have always loved the mopar stripe on the rear quarters and deck lid, I would be tempted to put that stripe on my car...... Maybe not white but maybe a very dark grey with the turbo 6...

    Still a cooling issue

Like my revered and wise papa once told me, " Nothing is a mistake if you learn from it. Then it's just an 'educational experience ' ". And I have been "educated" many times.
