Sorry for my ignorance, but what year LT1 starter do I ask for at the parts store?

I bet you might be right on the starter....I have a new battery and it has been acting like it's dragging and cranking slow even though the battery is new....Are the starters easy to find? or should I send the original out for rebuilding since I have a 22k original miles untouched car? Any...

I dought the head gasket is blown, it runs fine and no fluids are mixing or leaking. ....and no weard sounds when it's running, just sounds strange on cranking..?

I ran the $hit out of my TTA on the highway last week on the highway and ran it up to 145 just for kisks. I'm all stock and now when I start the car it has a swooshy sound when the starter cranks. It almost sounds like a hose in a compressor is off...I cheched all the hoses I can see and havent...

I have a slight vibration on a cold engine. It only lasts a minute or two until the car warms up a bit.....is this normal? BTW, it's an 89 TTA w/ 22k
