    clatter/rapping sound from DS header & V.C.

Pull your oilpan off and check your bearings. I am in the middle of this right now. I had the same sound, which sounded like it ws from the valvecover area, turns out my #1 rod bearing is pounded. Time for new rod and main bearings. :( If you want to check which rod it is, unplug your...

Mark H. Electric Exhaust Cutout GP

group purchase I agree with Jim......another downside is having 100 people interested and when it comes time to pony up the dough only 4 or 5 are left. I'm thankful we have vendors that practically specialize in these cars...I hope they keep going Jay

    tps adjustment help

yeah, good thinking. If you aer not used to a dremel, they can be a "little" aggressive and you may end up taking more material off then you wish, it does not take much to get the proper adjustment ;)

    tps adjustment help

Justaveesix Take a dremel and enlarge the backside of the half moon shaped holes. This will give you a greater WOT adjustment and you can still hold .44 @ idle. Anything over 4.3 volts @ WOT will be ok. HTH

    Thrasher question

thrasher must be run @ 45psi +/- 1-2psi. That is how they get the smooth idle characteristics, anything less and you will have problems and most likely lots of knock. The difference between the stock and 237 regulator is the static fuel pressure. I believe the stock is about 37-38psi and the...

Power Antenna to Old school. What is needed?

another option: why not keep the power antenna. GM has a kit avail for a rebuild and the whole job is fairly simple if you have a couple of hours and some beverages:D . If I recall, the kit cost $18 cdn which is about $3 bucks US , and now my gn has a working factory power antenna just...

    Help Little MS.

check your coil pack while your at it, not just with a meter but with Casper's coil tester. You may have a coil starting to go bad causing stumble at idle but WOT is ok. I know I did, swapped coils and it was gone at least 95% anyways. 10-14* is way too much knock, another chip may help as...
