    So i set idle to 1000rpm, then measured the pressure for each gear at maximum throttle cable. Here are the numbers. P: 120-150 R: 120-210 N: 100-150 D: 110-130 3: 120 2: 150-160 1: 130-150

    when i check the pressures in each gear, should i have someone else pull the cable entirely to depress the plunger? I've not been doing that, i've just been sitting in my car measuring off the gauge as i shift from gear to gear.

    I actually took out about half a quart, I assumed more fluid in the space, means higher than normal pressures. Now, with the cable disconnected, at idle, in park, it's reading 115, which seems way too high..do I need to take out more fluid? When I checked it, it was a tad under the full mark...

    TV plunger/cable issue

    ends up that the cable was locking up due to an extreme curve down into the transmission. unkinked it, and now it's working like it should. just gotta get the pressures dialed in. thanks for the help
