    Problem solved! I got a new ECM and that solved the problem, it started right up. Thanks for all your sugestions.

    I took out the ECM and is is a remanufactored one. The chip states that it is a DELCO and the sticker on it says CMM 1865. The ECM part number is 77-6459 and the service # IS 1226459. Any ideas what else will fit?

    Its not like the car really starts its like it wants to and if I went now I would have to wait a while for it to do the same thing but if I sprayed something in the throttle body it would run.. I also checked all the fuses and everything was ok.

    I ran the car and parked it in the garage for storage, once I went to start it the battery was dead and after changing the battery it would start for seconds if I let the car sit then after the initial fire it would just crank and crank and crank. Low fuel pressure so I changed the pump. Still...

    My car kicked no codes but it had a bad miss. So I changed the plugs because I thought one might have fouled. Then took it for a ride and that wasnt it. With the engine running I pulled off every plug wire one at a time to see if the miss got worse. It did with all except one. I pulled that plug...

    I have found the problem. The injector on the drivers side rear cylinder wasnt working at all. I took off the plug cleaned everything up and it ran fine again. Thanks for all the info guys.

    I will have to look but there was a spacer underneath the coil and the holes were not in the right spot for the coil. ( i STILL DONT KNOW WHY) but when I put the new coil on it I didnt need the spacer and the bolts lined up. I looked at the wires yesterday and it looked that they were spliced...

    I had just replaced the coil and it appeared to be a hard black plastic that seemed to be ok.

    Another quick question is the module suposed to get real hot? The coil stays semi cool for being under the hood but the coil gets real hot.
