    Ha, I know that. I am upgrading my alternator and I read for the first time that you can adjust what position the alternator is internally. I searched re-clocking alternator and I found the attached article. Is re clocking something that is needed? or is this still a dumb question?

    I found an old fuel rail for an 85 Turbo Regal and the Shrator Valve thing is broken off. Can I just thread the openeing and put a brass piece of some sort on it to hook up to a fuel gauge? Or should I just though it out?
