Try Hubbard Machining In Hayward
(510) 537-1885 . Ask for Wade. He's built a number of GN motors for friends.
Wade's prices are reasonable and he does good work... you just have to stay on top of him because he's usually swamped.
Still Rich... Not building boost
Thanks for those who gave suggestions....
I reset the cam sensor and valves. That resolved poping/ sputtering and the taping from within the valve covers.
But, now it will not build boost . The car idles fine... but when given gas it falls on its face...
180* out
Any other Ideas?
I'm hearing that if the cam position sensor is off... that the car would not start once stopped..??
The car turns right over.. It just runs like sh$t.. lol
180* out
I can recheck it.. however, I thought I followed the directions carefully... but, like I said it was my first time.
the way it sputters and pops... If it was a carbed motor - I would definetly think I was 180* out on the dizzy.
Just completed assembly on my 109 rebuild:
Right now I can Idenitfy two problems. Valvetrain noise (Rattling in valve covers)
-Hyd roller cam
-gn1 heads
-T70 Turbo
-83 injectors
-extender chip
-Translator +
And the car stumbles on it's face when given gas... pops through the exhaust...
