This sounds like a very cool project. If you get the rotating assembly balanced properly you can leave the balance shaft out of that motor as well, but you must plug the oil port to the back bearing. FWD or RWD
The one problem your going to have to deal with is where the SC inlet is, It's going to end up at the back of the motor. And how much torque will the VW tranny take the SC produces a lot of low end torque. Mine dynoed at 415 lb.ft at 2700 RPM at the wheels. You may be better off looking into...- mikergp

parking brake light and trac off light are on
This means that the ABS is disabled for one reason or another. You might check all the plugs in the sensor wires there's plugs at each wheel and also a couple under the car. Try unplugging them and plug them back in this scrapes the contact in case of corrosion which if there's a leak in any of...- mikergp

Darth, I see you Turboed a Series II motor :). Was this a naturally asperated motor or the SC version (VIN K or VIN 1)? What problems have you have and which ECM are you using? Thanks in advance,- mikergp
