I bought this converter 2 years ago and only used it for 1 summer on an extreme stage 1 trans. Selling now to make some room as my combo has changed..Stall speed is around 3000.rpm. Worked flawlessly. Paid $425+shipping selling for $350 including shipping to lower 48 states..still have original...

Just ordered a racetronix fuel sender with 255 pump as a complete assembly put it in and had no fuel pressure,pump ran but did not pump>I called Mike at Full Throttle and he said to check and see if the pump was wired backwards and it was .Thanks to Full Throttle Speed for the technical...

I just installed a Precision 5831 on mine ,same converter as you have and I am very pleased with it.Cant beat it for the price.

Hey guys,Will the Garrett turbine housing from a ta49 fit a Precision 5857 turbo without any modifications?

The Turbonetics .63 exhaust housing is larger in physical size than the Garrett .63 housing much like the Precision housing is.Thats probably why is was a litte slowwer to spool than my TA49 which had the Garrett housing, but it did pull harder up top at least it felt like it did I dont have any...

I never made any passes with it but it did pull harder in the mid and upper rpm range than the 49 did.

I ran that turbo back in 2008 and I really liked it It was a little laggy compared to the TA49 that it replaced but it pulled real hard. I would buy it again,cant say how it would compare to a 5857

Mr.Spool I was happy with how fast the 49 spooled but it didnt pull nearly as hard up top as my old te60, it was a Turbonetics CPT60 I got from Jack Cottons.the one you see pictured
