speedo gear wanted

Well, my engine is back and ready for assembly. I hope to have in back in next weekend. As for the trans/speedo issue, what can I do to correct this? I currently have the orange drive gear and the white driven gear. The car has 3.73 gears and 255/60r15 on back. It shows 15mph at 12mph and 60mph...- olds455

Should a shift kit be my next mod?
I rebuilt my 200 4r on my kitchen table with Chris(Ck) book and parts. It works great with absoloutly no complaints. It's the best trans Ive ever owned and does exactly as Chris says. Now if I could get that new engine rebuilt again.- olds455

Motor is apart. # 6 spun like crazy. Hey Chris? The ring that bolts to the torque convertor, can that be changed to one that has the pedestal for an olds flexplate? Thanks, joe- olds455

Thanks to all for the help. The project just made a big leap backwards. I believe it spun a rod bearing but I won't know till I get into it. I'll continue to read up on Turbo Buick for tips, stories and learning. Joe- olds455

The tcc is wired through a toggle switch so it can only be operated in 4th. I'm glad D3 is good for town without damage. Any thoughts on the speedo issue. Thank Chris for the great info and help. The trans shifted pefecly at wot. Joe- olds455

I have my new 200 4r behind my 455 and it's working great. The car has 3.73 gears and drives great. I thought I wanted the lockup feature but now I'm changing my mind. On the highway it's great in 4th and locked up but in town the speed isn't high enough and the engine is lugging and bucking...- olds455

If I remember those valves go in the pump right? Would I benifit from the higher pressure with my calibration? Should I put some miles on it before any rallying? I've got my sights on another cutlass that needs a whoopin. Thanks- olds455

Chris at CK performance is the man! I went out and attempted the d3-d4 shift and it didn't respond. So I loosened the tv cable an that didn't seem to work so for giggles I tightened a couple clicks and that didn't work, then bam. At 55mph it hit 4th, lockked the tcc and dropped the rpm to 1500...- olds455

Ive got a new 200 4r rebuilt by my self with ck parts and CKs help. I took these pressure readings before the test drive. The demon carb gets max tv at wot and the min readings are at its idle position(reading at 1000 rpm) Park-110 min and 205 max reverse-165 min and 195 max neutral-110...- olds455

I figured out what was happening. I went to freinds house and we checked out his 200 4r core for comparison. The lever rods were the same length, but his gm cable had .5in more travel than mine. so after some measurements we found the flashing where the cable was crimped to the end link. After...- olds455

Here is pic #4 I dont believe this is an issue with the carb geometry due to it not even hooked up for these pics. Im sure when I assembled the section I remembered the valve pressing all the way in.
